Description: I drove three hours from Sydney to Kanangra Boyd NP to do some painting. We arrived there, and it started raining heavily, but I decided to walk down to one of the closest waterfalls and do a monochromatic sketch. I then used that sketch as the foundation to paint full colour using reference photos and memories of the day. I love painting waterfalls, trying to capture the energy of the water. In Australia, waterfalls are best seen after the rains, as the water will be flowing well and not just trickling.
The artwork is varnished for protection and includes a certificate of authenticity. Please note, the painting is unframed; framing options are available upon request.
