• The aim of this class is to help you to continue developing your painting skills.
• This class is for those individuals who already have some experience in oil painting and want to continue developing their skills with some guidance. As your mentor I will help you develop more advanced painting techniques and to help you identify and solve problems.
• There will be some demonstrations about various topics according to what is needed by members of the class. Everyone can learn something new from others.
• Students are allowed to work using their own reference material, as long as this material is of a sufficient quality to work from. The tutor can also provide high quality reference images for a refundable deposit of $5, which will be refunded when you return the image.

MATERIALS NEEDED
Since this class is not for absolute beginners, it is assumed that you have all the materials you need to paint, Please bring what ever you own. If the materials especially paints are not of a good quality I can suggest to you what to use. Painting with materials, especially paints and surfaces, usually result in inferior and poor quality. It is also harder to paint and to mix colours using low quality paints. So if you are not achieving good results, it might be because of your materials and not because you are doing something wrong.

Price Schedule:         AU$ 350  for 7 sessions
                                       AU$ 250 for 4 sessions
                                 1 casual class   -  AU$ 60
 
If you miss a class (maximum 1 class per term), you will not loose the money but it will be deducted from the fee of the next term.
I encourage commitment to the class as this is very important if you want to develop your skills. However, I also give a degree of flexibility with fees.

VENUE
The venue is at Castle Hill Showgrounds, Castle Hill. A map will be provided after booking. The venue is only 5 minute walk from Showground Metro Station (Chatswood - Tallawong line).

Premises are airconditioned and with toilets.
