You can use the form below to submit up to four images of your artwork (and/or sketches) for critique and suggestions.
I can advice you about the various important elements of painting such as composition, values and colour to help you improve your work. Before submitting please make sure that the photos submitted are of a good quality and a true representation of your artwork. Here are some suggestions of how to photograph your work: 1. The camera has to face the painting straight at the front. Please do not take photos from the sides as this will alter perspective and I will not be able to evaluate your work. 2. If using mobile phones try to take the photo from a distance and zoom in to fill up the frame. Do not take photos with your phone too close to the painting as this will create lense distortions. 3. Do not use a flash. You will need to have enough light in the room to take a good image. 4. The best light is a neutral white light. The easiest way is to photograph your artwork outside in a shady place and away from direct sunlight. Cloudy days are the best. If you submit images that are not good, I will get back to you by email and you can resubmit new images through email. By submitting you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions: 1. That the images you are submitting are those of works done by yourself and do not violate any copyright laws. 2. After sending the images it can take up to a week for me to give you feedback. 3. Fees are non-refundable. |
