Here is an opportunity to learn how I paint my Still Life paintings using an indirect method of painting.
This event is limited to a small number of attendees in order to ensure that everyone is given the attention needed.
The indirect method of painting is a multi step approach that allows you to develop the painting gradually. It also allows you to correct and modify your work as you progress. Oil paint is a very forgiving medium and learning to use this method gives you a lot of opportunities to create various effects in a painting.
This method of painting allows you to develop detail in a painting and control various light effects.
The course will be delivered over 3 sessions of 4.5 hour each and with enough time in between each session to allow the painting to dry before moving to the next stage.
Throughout the whole course we will be working on a single Still Life painting containing different elements that needs to be tackled using various techniques.
The schedule is as follows: Day 1. Sunday 12th November
Overview of oil painting materials and tools.

Starting the underpainting and initial blocking of shapes and values.
