Do you sell original artworks? All of my artworks available through this website are handcrafted and painted by myself. A signed certificate of authenticity is given with each artwork. All works are unique and not replicated.
Are you a professional artist? Yes I am a professional artist and my business is registered and operates according to Australian law.
What kind of artworks do you sell? I have a wide selection of original work in oils and acrylics. My work includes landscapes, seascapes and still life. I also have a variation of sizes as well as prices to suit your budget and needs.
What materials do you use? To create my artwork I use professional artist grade colours (Art Spectrum, Old Holland, Winsor and Newton, Masterclass, Gamblin, Michael Harding and Blue Ridge professional oils) and materials including canvases, stretchers, varnishes and frames. I do not use mass produced materials and most of the supplies used are made in Australia, US or Europe. This gives guarantee of quality to the buyer.
What guarantee do you give for your product? I give a life-long guarantee on the quality of my artworks to the client. I use professional quality products for the creation of these artworks to ensure quality and durability.
What determines the price of the artwork? Materials used to create the artworks do not affect the difference in price between the artwork since I use the same high quality materials for all my work. Price is determined by size. All prices are in Australian dollars.
What do I need to do if I am interested to buy one of your original works? If you have any questions regarding any of my work please feel free to contact me through the contact form. To buy any other artwork in the safest and easiest way you can go to my Bluethumb Gallery Page and proceed with the purchase using credit card. Prices on Bluethumb are final and there are no extra delivery charges to addresses within Australia. If you want to commission me to paint a painting for you then please contact me directly.
What payment methods do you accept? For any commissioned work I accept direct bank transfers and payments by credit cards through PayPal. This guarantees safety to you. I am sorry but I do NOT accept cheques. If buying through Bluethumb please use their safe gallery system.
Do you accept lay-by or flexible payments? If you liked an artwork and would like to buy it, but you are not in a position to do so I also accept flexible payments. After contacting me and agreed about a price you will need to pay 50% of the agreed price as a down-payment. After receiving your money I will take the painting you chose off the market and hold it for you. You will then need to pay the remaining amount in 2 - 3 installments depending on our agreement. The painting will be delivered or picked up after the last installment is received.
How is the artwork delivered? Do I pay for delivery? Most artwork is sold unframed and so it will be delivered to you by TNT couriers if within Australia. For addresses within Australia there are no extra delivery costs. For overseas addresses, delivery and packaging costs are charged extra to the price of the artwork. For framed artwork and artworks bigger than 90 cm extra charges will apply.
Do you accept commissioned work? and what kind? Yes I accept commissioned work for landscapes and a variety of other work that suits my style. Please contact me so that we discuss your needs.
Do you paint from photos? No I do not paint directly from photos. I use photos as a reference but not copying the exact photo. Most of the time I change the colour scheme and add/remove/move objects to create an artistic composition. I only keep and use the details of the main subject from the photo.
What is the price for commissions? and how it works? Price is determined by size of artwork. After we agree about the painting, price and expected date for completion, we will sign a contract stating these details. An initial deposit of 50% of the final price is required before starting the work. This is non-refundable for paintings that are personalised unless I do not honour the agreement, which never happens. The final payment has to be paid on the day of delivery. I keep my clients informed about the progress of their artwork by sending photos of the work in progress. You can always refuse to accept the final product and not to pay the final instalment, however you will lose the initial deposit if this breaks the agreement. If you live within Sydney metropolitan area I will deliver your artwork myself and for free.
Do you do framing? Yes I do framing. Please inquire for more details.
What other services do you offer? I offer a variety of other services including prints, photography and framing. Please contact
